| This custom-designed house on south Puget Sound was inspired by a 100-year-old house on the same site. Unfortunately, the old house was beyond repair, so the owners chose to build new — completely up-to-date with regard to energy-conserving details, functional layout and contemporary aesthetics (such as ample light).
